Calling all English, communications, and journalism students: ND2A Group is looking for a 2022 summer writing intern.

As a Digital Content Writing Intern, you will write and research articles for our portfolio of websites across multiple verticals, including but not limited to celebrity and current events, auto, health, finance, and technology. In addition, you will analyze the performance of your content over time and use that information to help come up with new ideas and concepts.

What You Do

  • Create highly engaging digital content that connects with readers
  • Write copy that is free of jargon, plain-speaking but never boring
  • Research topics and fact check all sources
  • Narrate complicated ideas easily
  • Know how to use storytelling when appropriate
  • Publish content using CMS
  • Brainstorm new content ideas and stay on top of current events and trends
  • Optimize content to performance KPIs such as bounce rate and time on site
  • Understand and implement basic SEO principles where applicable
  • Review the performance of past content to find new ways to improve

Ideal candidates are college students, preferably in their second or third year, with excellent writing and editing skills and a passion for online content. We’re also looking for an independent, fast learner with a wide breadth of knowledge (you love learning random trivia facts and going on Wikipedia deep dives).

No prior writing experience is required, however, familiarity with WordPress and Canva is a plus. This internship is paid and full-time at our office in downtown Clayton, MO. It is not remote. Scheduling is flexible, though ideally, the internship would begin in May and end in August.
